July not only had a big trip, but lots of cousins! It was the family reunion, and we were going to east canyon reservoir state park to do some kayaking. we had a great time. the best part was when my kayak capsized and I was thrown into the water! we stayed in a cabin in Morgan, Utah which was about ten minutes from the lake.

Going to Goram scout ranch
Being an 11 year old scout, it was time to go to another campout. My position, outdoor ethics guide, means I was ,kind of the leader on the campout. I slept in a tent that was already pitched, and had 2 buddies: Dallin and Ryan. we all had a great time. I think my favorite part was swimming because I passed the swim test. I had tons of fun, and learned many cool songs. This is my 2nd campout, and am currently a tenderfoot.

grand tetons National park
On are way back from Yellowstone we took a side stop at grand Tetons national park. It is Right below Yellowstone. we saw deer, and an elk. the big part was seeing the pretty mountain sides around the park. Another highlight was taking a boat through the river to a trail(we didnt do the trail because we were on the clock)and had a good time. (pictures below)

My first 2017 Isotopes game
Here in Albuquerque, we don't have many sports teams. But one team this city really cares about is the Albuquerque Isotopes , a minor league baseball team whom is really fun to watch. The game I saw was with me and a friend. We had a suite, and it was awesome. All though the Topes lossed to the Tacoma rainiers, I still had a great time.
Spring training in Arizona
How many of you have been to spring training for baseball? If you haven't, you really should go.The spring training in Arizona is called the cactus league. It has at least over half of all baseball teams in MLB and all of the teams minor league players as well. We saw the Cubs of Chicago beat the Japan baseball team, and the Colorado Rockies beat Cleveland Indians. It was all quite fun, and on top of that we got plenty of autographs. My favorite was Charlie Blackburn signing my ball because one hes such a good player and two he told me a nice thing.

san diego
my family's trip to San Diego was a blast, thou the trip started pretty rough. we flew from Albuquerque to lax airport, then drove to a condo near the ocean. the first day of the trip we were very unhappy because d-man was sick. but the second day, we went to Lego land and rode about ten rides.one ride however,we got stuck on so we got a what we would think of as a free fast pass(you had to buy them).I got many good pics of Lego creations, many star wars.
the 3rd day of the trip we took a hour cruise of the bay, again taking many pics. after that we boarded the USS midway, a retired aircraft carrier that is now a museum.I didn't get many pics this time because my cam was almost dead. however, I learned lots about the ship.
the fourth day was sea world. on a Thursday. and it was empty. we were one of just about 500 people. but, it was great. we went on the manta ride 6 times. we also learned that sea world has no great white sharks because they don't have room.
the fifth day was rest day. we went to the beach most of the day looking for shells and boogie boarding. we didn't find one shell.
the sixth day was back to sea world. we spent most the day at the rides because it was a Saturday and there was no room in any exhibits.
the seventh day we went home. this was are trip to San Diego.
